Simply call into the Surgery and request a registration letter from one of the receptionists.
Then use the information in the letter to log-in to 
* and register to use the system.
The letter will give you your personal ID and PIN. It also gives the Practice ID. Don't worry about another PIN to remember. You will need it only once when you register. Afterwards you will use a password that you choose.
Please note: for security reasons, you must collect your registration letter in person from the Surgery. If you are acting on behalf of someone else you will need that person's signed authority for you to collect the letter for him or her.
*EMIS is the name of our computer software and stands for Egton Medical Information Systems. The software was first developed by two General Practitioners in Egton, near Whitby and is one of the UK's leading GP systems.
