We release only a limited number of appointments for internet booking so please telephone if you find that the time you want is not available. It may be available over the telephone.
You may arrive at any time within the advertised hours of a walk-in surgery. The length of time that you will have to wait will depend on how many other people come to the same surgery. It may be as short as 2 minutes, or as long as an hour (sometimes). If you are happy to sit and wait you will be seen, provided that you arrived within the advertised hours.
Appointments are usually for 10 minutes but please ask for a longer appointment if you need it. We endeavour to keep to time for appointments and ask for your cooperation in doing the same to make this possible.
Appointments are also available at other times for "specials" e.g. HGV medicals, diabetic reviews, coil fittings.
The Health Visitor holds a walk-in baby clinic from 1.30-3.30 p.m. on the first and third Mondays of each month, except when this falls on a Bank Holiday.

If you wish to save a visit to the Surgery by speaking to the doctor or nurse on the telephone, please contact the receptionist in the usual way before or during surgery consultation hours. She will arrange for you to be called back at the end of surgery.
