All GP Practices are now required to provide their patients with a ‘named, accountable GP’. The named accountable GP takes responsibility for the co-ordination of appropriate services required under the practice’s NHS contract and ensures that they are delivered to each of their patients where required (based on the clinical judgement of the named accountable GP).
All of our patients, including children, now have a named GP who is responsible for their overall care.
Please note that this does NOT prevent you from seeing any GP of your choice in the practice as you currently do now, and you will not see any change in the way care is delivered to you by us.
