Test results

We ask that you make it your personal responsibility to find out the results of any tests, X-rays etc. that we have requested, with the exception of cervical smears where the results will be sent to you direct.

Test results can be accessed 24/7 via your online account. Your test results will be available here, along with the recommended action from your GP if appropriate. If you do not have access to a smart phone with the ability to download the App then please submit an admin e-consultation requesting information about your recent test results. A member of the team will then reply with the information you require.

For those who do not have access to the internet then please telephone the surgery after 10:30am in the morning, or after 2:00pm in the afternoon, to get your results.

Occasionally however the nurses do telephone patients with test results. If there is an answer phone they will leave a message requesting that you contact the Surgery. If you do not want messages left on your answering service please let us know.

Please note: Your results are confidential to you and will not be given to anyone else without your express permission. Exceptions to this apply for young children (when results will be given to a parent or guardian) and when another doctor needs to know.
